In Macau grandly hosted Global Gaming Expo 2018 (better known as G2E Asia), the 12th annual expo dedicated to the gaming business. This exhibition takes place in the Venetian Macao on a yearly basis and brings together representatives of the gaming industry from around the world. This year is no exception.

By tradition, the American Gaming Association representative Stacy Papadopoulos officially opened the exhibition with his welcome speech. Stacy noted the level of G2E Asia expo development in recent years and the fact that the expo became an excellent information & educational platform for the gaming development in Asia.

Reed Exhibitions president Hu Wei joined Stacy to award the nominees for the annual G2E Asia Awards. Prizes were awarded in the following nominations: Best solution for lottery business, Best slot game, Best gaming provider, Best industry innovation and others.

After the official opening, all G2E Asia visitors and guests enjoyed three rich and fruitful expo days. The exhibition hall featured booths of developers of software for casinos and bookmakers, gambling equipment manufacturers, casino operators, legal companies, and payment systems. A variety of proposals could impress even the most sophisticated consumers. All this deservedly grands G2E Asia the right to bear the title of the main gaming expo in the Asian region.

Moreover, the expo organizers did not forget about the educational piece. Representatives of the world’s leading companies made presentations and took part in panel discussions on May 15-17. The lion’s share of all reports belonged to the theme of development of integrated entertainment resorts and all related issues. They also discussed issues of a legal and political nature and did not avoid important tax issues.

The last day of the conference was dedicated to digital content and technology, new developments in online gambling, all possible ways of protection and security. For the first time ever, G2E Asia discussed topics of virtual and augmented reality in gambling.

G2E Asia 2018 broke a record in terms of all indicators. The expo occupied 37, 000 sqm housing 200 booths. The attendance rate also was high. This year the exhibition was visited by over 15, 000 people from 90 countries.
